Dear Parents & Carers
I am writing to thank you all for your ongoing patience and support over the past few months.
The Pandemic has thrown many challenges in our way over the past two years, not least of all in the last few months. I know that class closures have been very difficult to manage for the children and as a result of this, many of you have had hard times at home.
I am most grateful for your support over this prolonged and difficult time – thank you all.
When the school re-opens after Easter, the times of the school day will be changing, moving away from the structured staggered start arrangements currently in place.
From TUESDAY 19th APRIL 2022, if you bring you child to school, your child will need to arrive between 8.50 am and 9.00 am. The school day will end for this group of children between 2.50pm and 3.00pm.
Children use transport organised by the council will continue to arrive for 9.15 am, and will leave at 3.15pm.
Staff at the school have worked flexibly for two years, and I am very grateful for their support and determination to keep things running as smoothly as possible for the children. The move to two arrival/departure times will enable the team to resume training and meetings.
Once again, your patience and support is much appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
Laura Clarke
Headteacher
