Rowan Gate is a five site school with main sites at Finedon Road, Wellingborough and Hayway in Rushden.  The school has two satellites based at Tennyson Road Infant School in Rushden and Stanton Cross Primary School near Wellingborough. In November 2024 the school opened a provision at Wilby.

Having three schools and satellite classes allows pupils to attend a school close to or within the area in which they live.

We are a nurturing school, providing support to pupils who have learning difficulties as well as social, emotional and mental health difficulties.  We have a Family Liaison team who offer support and advice to parents and a Stay and Playschool, to support parents, babies and children of pre-school age who have additional needs.

Therapies are important to our school and our pupils. We work in conjuction with other professionals in the NHS to meet our pupils needs.  We buy in therapies such as music therapy, play therapy and educational psychology support to address educational difficulties and behavioural needs.  We also have staff trained to offer drawing and talking therapies and have occupational therapy sensory cirucuits available to support pupils with sensory needs and enable our pupils to meet their full potential.
