Visual Structure for Autistic Children

Note: This course runs over TWO days, Tues 1^st Oct 9.00am to 5pm and then Thurs 3^rd Oct 9.00am to 4pm. Both days must be attended

Course Aims: 

• To develop the candidate's understanding of the four building blocks of visual structure (physical (environment), schedules, work systems and visual prompts) 
• To develop confidence implementing the effective use of a workstation and independent tray tasks 
• To experience putting the theory into practice on day two, interacting directly with students working at a range of cognitive levels and with a range of verbal communication skills
