The official opening of Rowan Gate Primary School (East) at the Hayway in Rushden took place in the afternoon of Wednesday 02 September 2015.

The opening ceremony was performed by Rev. Richard Coles and was attended by many stakeholders –

• pupils, parents, therapists, staff and governors
• local schools and local residents
• Members of Northamptonshire County Council
• Representatives from the companies that designed, managed and refurbished the building
• Representatives from suppliers of equipment and furniture.

Light refreshments were shared and everyone had a chance to view the refurbished building.

Lots of positive comments were received and we were delighted that the afternoon was such as success.
