Dear Parents,
I hope that you are all safe and well.
We have been working this week on planning for the phased reopening of our school, and I am writing to you all to let you know what we are planning to do.
Thank you for responding to our question about your child returning to school – nearly one third of the children will be joining us from 15th June.
After meeting with Governors last night, a clear way forward has been agreed, offering two days a week in school for some of the children whose parents have asked for it. I am sorry to say that we are not able to take any more children at the moment, as we are required to limit the number of children in each group to three or four depending on the needs of each child.
The childcare provision for children of Keyworkers will continue at the Wellingborough site each day, but be closed on a Friday (starting from next week).
The Wellingborough site will be open to more children on Mondays and Tuesdays ONLY
The Rushden site will be open to more children on Wednesdays and Thursdays ONLY
The administrative staff will be able to take calls from you on these days.
Transport are only able to run the service for very few children – and most children will need to be brought in and collected by parents.
The Governors understand that the focus will be on the children enjoying some time with us, and settling in the school buildings again.
Our staff have all done a wonderful job of keeping the school open and safe for our children, and keeping the statutory processes running as well – Reviews and Safeguarding processes and meetings have continued as if the school was fully open. I must thank them all.
I will be in touch with those of you whose child has been allocated a place from 15th June in a separate letter. Later in the term, you will all hear from us about plans for the Autumn term.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to email me on .
Kind Regards
